What is Mogadishu Tech Summit
Mogadishu Tech Summit is the flagship event that brings together the best and brightest Somali innovators, techies, coders, hackers, developers, experts, academics, students, entrepreneurs, startups, investors and journalists from inside Somalia as well as in the diaspora, in order to explore business and investment opportunities, shape the tech ecosystem of the country and, more importantly, learn, share ideas and network meet new innovators. The summit also provides a space for Somalis to think collectively about the challenges we face as a nation and think creatively about innovative solutions and the role technology can play in Somalia’s leap into an economic hub.
What is this year's Mogadishu Tech Summit theme
The world is facing a pandemic that has impacted and weakened the global economy and health infrastructure.
This year, the theme for MTS2021 is “Investing in Local Innovation for Inclusive COVID19 Recovery and Growth” with a focus on health, education, and the economy.
